Over the past few years, Nancy Jenkins, JS Art Teacher, has integrated digital design in the 3rd-5th curriculum,   Nancy collaborates with Ed Tech (Mr. Haratsaris and Mr. Beach) to streamline the workflow involved in 3D design to our 5th graders.  Instruction included:

• Explanation of the use and safety concerns with 3D printers
• Introduction to the workflow of 3D printing, from creation of the design in a CAD like application (TinkerCad) to the final printed product created on a 3D printer
• Tips and tricks on how to better tinker in TinkerCad
