iMovie

Although animations and photo slideshows are awesome, anyone interested in making videos will eventually want a tool that can help them edit actual video footage they capture with their own cameras. For that, they need a tool like iMovie.

While it’s possible in iMovie to use a pre-made theme, iMovie also lets you do much more specific editing: cut and trim clips, add different effects (like fading in and out) and transitions between clips, and have titles that overlay the video.

iMovie projects can be stored through iCloud, so you can switch between devices without losing your work. Finished videos can be shared on Facebook, uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, or iTunes, or shared in theater mode through the iCloud hosting service.
