class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ChatGPT in education seems to be an extremely controversial topic.\u00a0 The big debate you will hear or see is should we ban it or embrace it, is it friend or foe in the classroom, or does it pose opportunities, challenges or threats?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I personally think it is too early to fall on either side of the debates.\u00a0 On one hand, it is a very powerful tool that has tremendous potential, both for students and teachers.\u00a0 On the other hand, it scares me what students can use it for without having the skills and knowledge to use it effectively (or if we don&#8217;t provide guidance to help them understand this).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As is true with any debate, it is important to know information on both sides to help formulate your stance.\u00a0 To assist in understanding both sides, we put together a list of potential benefits and drawbacks that ChatGPT can have on students and
