AI Chatbots are tools that today\u2019s students will most likely encounter when they enter the working world.\u00a0 No matter how we feel about it, Chatbots are available for students to use and it is our responsibility to provide them the skills they need to use them safely and properly.\u00a0 So you may be asking yourself what are some strategies I can use in the classroom?<\/span><\/p>

One strategy is to use AI detectors.\u00a0 If you suspect a student has potentially used AI in their writing, you can run it through an AI detector.\u00a0 Remember, since they are just as new as AI Writers, they are not the end all. \u00a0 They may not be reliable and can produce false positives.\u00a0 They can, however, be used as an opportunity to have conversations with students on what led them to the AI writer and what support they need to formulate their own responses.\u00a0 Here is a list of a few AI detectors:<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
