Halloween is a great time for kids of all ages! Browsing a variety of sites seeking some ideas for your classroom, I came across this Wakelet that is a treasure trove of resources.
If you don’t have experience with a Wakelet, it is a curation tool that allows you to place your ideas and resources on a subject in one place. Click here to learn more about Wakelet. It is a resource that can be found in your DCDS Tech Tools under Curation
This Halloween Wakelet was created by Karly Moura a teacher and blogger. It has 30 different activities for students of all ages. There are STEM activities using Breakout Edu, Codebreaker and MakerSpace. There are several writing and drawing activities for all ages.
Art projects let you build virtual Jack-o-Lanterns or carve your own pumpkins on line. Students can build their own Android Gif to place in their email signature. The Magnetic Poetry activity using Google slides stirs the creative mind, and there is even an Escape Room activity created with Google Slides.
You will be hard pressed not to find something for your class regardless of the age group you teach.
