ChatGPT in education seems to be an extremely controversial topic. The big debate you will hear or see is should we ban it or embrace it, is it friend or foe in the classroom, or does it pose opportunities, challenges or threats?
I personally think it is too early to fall on either side of the debates. On one hand, it is a very powerful tool that has tremendous potential, both for students and teachers. On the other hand, it scares me what students can use it for without having the skills and knowledge to use it effectively (or if we don’t provide guidance to help them understand this).
